Most exosome questions collapse into one sentence: “Is this product good?” The answer is not in the trade name; it is in the technical file. Exosomes are extracellular vesicles in the 30–150 nm range; they carry protein, lipid, growth factor, and nucleic acid and help regulate intercellular communication. Their content varies with source and manufacturing.

Headings we look for in the file

  • Source-cell selection and standardisation of culture conditions
  • Isolation and purification method
  • Size distribution, marker, and cargo characterisation
  • Sterility, endotoxin, and cold-chain records
  • Lot-to-lot consistency

Why does this matter so much?

Mechanism headings in the literature (immunomodulation, angiogenesis, migration, antifibrotic effect) describe the field’s general frame; they do not guarantee the outcome of a specific commercial lot. ISEV’s MISEV framework puts reporting and comparability first for exactly this reason.

Scope, technical documentation, and supply details are on the stem cell and exosome page.
