- Source-cell selection and standardisation of culture conditions
- Isolation and purification method
- Size distribution, marker, and cargo characterisation
- Sterility, endotoxin, and cold-chain records
- Lot-to-lot consistency
Why does this matter so much?
Mechanism headings in the literature (immunomodulation, angiogenesis, migration, antifibrotic effect) describe the field’s general frame; they do not guarantee the outcome of a specific commercial lot. ISEV’s MISEV framework puts reporting and comparability first for exactly this reason.
